Three Years Strong: Koach Hub and Lao Football Federation Renew their Partnership for 2026!

The partnership between Koach Hub and the Lao Football Federation enters its third year in 2026, marking another milestone in their joint commitment to grassroots and coach development across Laos! What began as a shared vision for improving grassroots football has grown into a relationship built on trust, consistency, and a genuine love for developing the game in Laos.

Since the partnership began in 2024, Koach Hub has worked closely with the LFF to support youth football and coach development across five provinces. Today, the platform supports more than 2,500 young players and nearly 500 coaches – but beyond the numbers, it has helped create a connected coaching community that is aligned, organised, and committed to long-term development.

Singapore-based Koach Hub provides a digital ecosystem that allows coaches and federations to manage training plans, track attendance, assess players, and monitor development over time. For LFF, the platform has become a central tool in coordinating coach education initiatives and maintaining a national database of coaches – ensuring visibility, accountability, and consistency across the country.

Speaking on the renewal, Tariq Cassim, Co-Founder and CEO of Koach Hub, shared: “From the outset, our goal has been to support the development of football across all levels in Laos – empowering coaches, uplifting players, and strengthening the broader football ecosystem by blending people, practice, and technology. A highlight of this journey came in 2025 when Koach Hub was honored with the opportunity to present at the LFF Coaches Convention in Laos. This milestone not only validated the progress made in Laos but also positioned our collaborative work as a model for football development across the region.”

For Koach Hub, this partnership has never felt like a typical client relationship. Through regular visits, on-the-ground collaboration, and countless conversations with coaches and administrators, the team has built meaningful relationships across the Lao football ecosystem including the talented young players. These interactions have played a key role in shaping how the platform is used day to day – and in strengthening the impact it has at grassroots level.

Sundram Moorthy, Technical Director of the Lao Football Federation, reflected on what this has meant in practice: “Koach Hub has transformed how we track and manage player development. Through digitalisation, it brings clarity and organisation, helping us make better decisions in player selection and future programme design.”

This is echoed by Coach Herman Zailani, Head of Coach Education: “Koach Hub has been instrumental in shaping how our technical department plans, delivers, and monitors its programmes. Its impact is evident in our achievement of AFC Grassroots Silver and AFC Elite Youth Scheme 1 Star Level membership accreditation. More importantly, it has enabled us to systematically identify, track, and support talent—bringing greater clarity, consistency, and purpose to our player development pathway.”

For the Lao Football Federation, the partnership continues to support its long-term vision of building a sustainable football pathway – from grassroots participation to elite performance – while ensuring that coaches across the country are equipped with the right tools and support.

With the partnership entering its third year, in 2026 Koach Hub and LFF move forward with renewed confidence and a shared commitment to long-term development. The year ahead promises continued growth, deeper collaboration, and meaningful impact across the Lao football ecosystem.
