Koach becomes a member of the GSIC (Global Sports Innovation Centre)
The Global Sports Innovation Center Powered by Microsoft (GSIC) opened its doors today in Singapore, welcoming entrepreneurs, start-ups, and businesses to develop innovation projects, collaborate on initiatives, and share knowledge and expertise. The launch of GSIC’s APAC headquarters will create opportunities for local and regional organizations to join a global network that has supported more than 450 members during the past 6 years.
Launched in partnership with Sport Singapore, GSIC APAC will be the regional hub where start-ups, sport businesses, public agencies, and students can capitalize on access to sport tech field experts to develop capabilities.
Koach, one of the revolutionary sports tech start-ups in Singapore became a member of the GSIC in the aim of developing the local sports tech industry in Singapore. Many other sports tech companies are a part of GSIC to expand their product offerings locally and regionally.
“I am humbled that Koach Hub is part of this amazing membership. Being a member of GSIC not only gives Koach the ability to connect with the sports ecosystem in Singapore, but also gives us access to other partners and potential investors. A big thank you to Inigo Bonilla for all his assistance on getting us onboard, very excited about the future” mentioned Tariq, CEO of Koach Hub.
“GSIC APAC will play a critical role in bridging the gap between technology and the needs of the region. It will also provide expertise, resources, content and offer a variety of training opportunities, capabilities development and active engagement in projects that help companies, sports organizations, governments, and other stakeholders solve business challenges” said Ms Iris Cordoba, GSIC General Manager.
